TURBULANT SKIES

Dark clouds loom over head bearing the threat of rain.  In the foothills of Colorado rain is almost always welcomed.  Several straight years of drought conditions have taught the region to cherish the moisture when ever it comes.

I loved looking at these pictures.   I've been back in L.A. for 15 years now, but I still have so many precious memories of the 10 years I spent in Colorado.  I remember so many days when I stood in my driveway, watching the weather move in from over the Rockies.  I saw it all .... blizzards, hail the size of baseballs, and a tornado or two.  Amazing !   I haven't been back for a visit in several years, but you have gotten me feeling all nostalgic, so I guess I am going to have to get out that Triple A map, and plan my return trip.  Thanks for sharing ....
